Now there’s a new way to pay on Mercari – use Venmo

Introducing Venmo – a new way to pay for your favorite finds on Mercari! You can now connect your Venmo account for fast and easy payments. Read on to learn how Venmo simplifies the way you shop, and how to get set up.

Pay your way with Venmo

Shopping on Mercari is even more flexible, convenient, and fun with Venmo as a payment option:

• Split payments with friends and family on Venmo. Group gifting, made simple – snag it on Mercari and easily split the cost from the Venmo app!

• Shop and pay using your Venmo balance. Treat yourself to your new favorite thing with unused Venmo funds.
  ‍
• Share your Mercari purchases on your Venmo feed. Take pride in finding a good deal? Show off your treasure-hunting skills to your circle.

Connecting your Venmo account

1. Sync your Venmo account. During checkout, tap "Card & Billing" and select "Pay with Venmo.” Alternatively, set up the connection via Settings > My payment methods.

2. Enter your info to get verified. Provide your Venmo username or email address on the pop-up or in the Venmo app. On web, enter the verification code sent to your phone number.

3. Get excited! Venmo is now connected. Once you agree to Venmo's Terms of Service, your Mercari account will have Venmo as your payment method.
